Chaseless

A bit early, but in preparation for prom...
Last year's hair style for me:

front view...
as well as Skye's traditional ringlets

how to:
Start with a small braid from one side of head going over to other side.
Secure with bobby pins.
Pull top half of hair into a loose low ponytail with small elastics, leaving out a thin section of top hair.
Pull bottom half of hair into a loose low ponytail directly below top ponytail.
Curl both ponytails in small sections resulting in tight ringlets.
Bobby pin each curl or small sections around ponytail in elastics until each is up.
Take the top layer of hair that was left out and bobby pin it loosely around elastics.
Curl remaining pieces.
Spray thoroughly.
(Make sure to hold the spray at least 6 inches away from head to insure the style is not hard or oily looking)

inspiration for the updo...

Other fun prom ideas/ updos!

Just for fun and in honor of some people's New Year's Celebrations.
(Not mine, because I don't drink due to my age and obedience to most laws)
Happy 2011!
On the other hand, however, a cool idea for the hair adventurers out there would be to do these same braids with some modifications to the top center ones and drape them loosely to the back of your head and secure with a barrette or elegant clip of some sort.
