Jenny's got a body thats shaped like an hourglass

My good gal friend, McKenzie (Gal with Curves) had a forties/ fifties birthday to celebrate her Sweet Sixteenth. I came over a bit early to assist her in errands as well as style her hair.
This is what we came up with:

I wasn't sure where I was going with this, but McKenzie told me to do whatever I wanted.

I ended up twisting two sections from the front to cross in the back.
Continuing to twist these sections of hair, I criss crossed them behind her pony tail which I did not use any hair ties for. Bringing the twisted sections back around the front, I crossed them once more in front and once more in back.
Then I secured them with bobby pins, using the pony tail to hide the pins.

With her short, side swept bangs and one loose curl by her face, the look is complete.

She looked stunning and her party was a hit complete with a birthday cake with her baby picture, guests dressed in their best 40's and 50's attire, big band music, and a movie projected onto her garage door.

Tip for the style: I curled and sprayed her hair before styling it. After the curls set, I lightly brushed through them with my fingers and sprayed once again.

Before the festivities began.

Happy 16th, McKenzie!
May this year bring you all your dreams and much more.
